A life long resident of the San Fernando Valley, Councilwoman Wendy Greuel has watched our city become denser, and our commutes become longer. She has watched our roads fall into disrepair and our elected officials become overwhelmed with our transit issues.
But as the new Chair of the City’s Transportation Committee, she has already banned road construction during rush hour, created anti-gridlock zones, and lobbied Sacramento to ensure construction and completion of a North-bound 405 carpool lane. Wendy is determined to secure our city’s fair share of transportation dollars, and to ensure that those funds are used efficiently.
Upon receiving the RAND report, Wendy was instantly on board with FAST, and will be in our corner as we move forward to find short-term solutions to our transit issues.
